I had just left work when I decided to go see "Beasts of the Southern Wild". I saw the trailer, but I was not ready for the fantastic adventure that it would take me on. The clock read 5:08 and the movie was starting at 5:10 pm. I was excited. So, I used my two minutes to get my ticket and snacks, and headed right to my seat. Beasts of the Southern Wild" is set in a place called the BathTub that is separated from everyone else. The main character "Hushpuppy"(Quvenzhané Wallis) tells the story of how she sees the world through her imagination. The movie is reminiscent of the event of Hurricane Katrina. But , it takes you on an enchanted adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is a must-see and I'm glad that I got the chance to go see it!
With my 3 year old that thinks Toy Story is scary I have to wait for everything to come out on Netflex. I'll check it out when it is released on DVD.
