God Will Do a New Thing in Your Life

Happy Monday everyone,
I wrote a post a few posts ago about letting God, be God in your life. Today I am posting a continuation of that message that God will do a NEW THING in your life. If we are going to let God, be God in our lives, then we have to know that He will do new things in our lives.

Isaiah 43: 19

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

This means that He will make a way out of no way! We cannot look at our situations and think that we automatically know the route in which He will take to get us to where He wants us to to be, or the
problem that we need solved. You have to trust in the Lord  and keep your faith in Him. This also means that we cannot look at everyone else's situation and think that God is going to do things the exact same way that He did in someone else's life, in the same situation. Keep in mind that He's going to do a "new thing"!

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Listen and read His word. Stay in prayer and allow Him to guide you.

Proverbs 3:6
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Remember that we must stay in faith...

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

This goes back to the first post. As a result, you cannot put God in a box, in your situation. He is bigger, higher, and more powerful than we could possibly understand.

Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

If the Lord's ways and thoughts are higher than our own, then we've probably never even come close to imagining the good things that He has in store for us. He will do a new thing and open new doors. For example, you ask God in prayer for a new job that you enjoy and pays better money. However, the position that you are asking for requires a college degree. So, you say to yourself that God could not possibly grant you the position because you don't have a degree. Or, you say to yourself that you know exactly how He's going to do it. The truth is that you don't. If his word says that He will even "make a way in the wilderness", you know that takes some creativity (as my pastor would say). Then, you need to have faith that He will do the same with your job.

Thank and praise Him!

John 14:16
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I pray that this post has blessed someone :-)
