There are so many gifted people that sing in the subway. This video reminded me of the old HBO series "Subway Stories". One of them featured singer Taral Hicks singing a long with a few other good musicians. They have it on YouTube... in case you want to check it out!1BlessedNaturalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15519291398462122568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3903706680932288756.post-13871019999177333362013-01-17T00:02:39.212-06:002013-01-17T00:02:39.212-06:00I would have missed my train until they were done....I would have missed my train until they were done. That Forever Jones piece was the bomb. God Bless them having church in the subway. And they were able to sing over the incoming trains. I remember doing this as a high school student in NYC . . . we'd be released from our last class (choir) and a whole bunch of us would head down to the subway to go home and we'd still have a song on our lips. We'd sing some classical piece with all four parts and blow the people out of their seats. This reminds me of that. Beautiful, just beautiful. Need to share this with daughter and husband. Thanks for posting it.JazzWifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03014191734801781940noreply@blogger.com
