Missy Elliot Responds to the Idea of Doing a Verzuz Battle with Busta Rhymes!

Missy Elliot tweeted the humblest response to doing a rap battle with Busta Rhymes.
Since the Verzuz battle between Nelly and Ludacris, hip hop fans have been sharing their opinions on social media of who they think should compete next.

On Twitter, rapper Rah Digga responded to the idea of a battle between Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot. She said, "No. Missy needs a singer/rapper/songwriter type battle. Busta is a dungeon dragon w/ 30 YEARS of hits and verses. Two COMPLETELY different animals."

Missy responded, "Busta Classics dates as far back to the beginning of time! I'm Team Bussa Bus all day er day! Whoever bold to do a Vs with him πŸ™ŒπŸΏπŸ’΅πŸ’°." Missy and Busta are two amazing artists in a class of their own, but it would be an interesting event to see. No response yet from Busta on the idea of the two doing a battle together.

Both artists came out in the mid-90s and have bragging rights according to Billboard charts alone. Busta Rhymes has a total of 20 songs on the Billboard charts through the years and 7 of them were on the Top 10 Hit list. Missy has a total of 30 songs on the Billboard charts and 9 of them were on the Top 10 Hit List. Both artists have very creative videos, especially Missy.

In 2018, Busta Rhymes released "Get It" featuring Missy and Kelly Rowland. In 2005, Missy Elliot was featured along with other artists including, Papoose, Rah Digga, Lloyd Banks, Mary J. Blige and DMX for Busta Rhyme's "Touch" It remix.
