Last week, I neglected to do my hair because I was moving. When I finally decided to do something to it, it was very matted. I lost handfuls of hair because of it. As a result, I figured it would be the perfect time to try the Olive Oil Hair Masque by ORS (Organic Root Stimulator) .  The sample for this product review is provided by Beauty Is Me Beauty Supply store in Bloomfield, NJ.

My Review

I applied the ORS Olive Oil Hair Masque to my hair after washing it. The formula was a bit warm from the shower. I felt the difference in my hair as soon as I applied the product. The directions on the back says that you can apply the product to your hair and let it sit for 5 minutes without heat, or you can sit under a dryer for 10 minutes if your hair is severely damaged. After applying the product, I put a a plastic cap and a scarf on my head, because I had errands to run. I kept it  in my hair for about 5 hours.

Detangling 

After removing the plastic cap, I combed my hair from the tips to the roots. The ORS Olive Hair Masque made me hair softer, but it didn't feel like it was thick enough to cover my fine strands. It might have been due to the fact that I had the 1.75 FL OZ. sample pack, but I'm not sure. I like to saturate my hair with the product I am using to help detangle my hair. So, I still had to do a lot detangling before washing the product out. 

After the wash...

After the wash, my hair was soft, silky, and smooth. I was really pleased with the results! Since this was my first time using a hair masque, I didn't know what to expect.
