So, if you read my last post, then you saw that I tried using the Softee Coconut Oil Hair and
Scalp Conditioner as a sealant (see pic above). I am happy with my results. I applied the KeraCare Conditioning Hair Dress and then applied the product by Softee. My hair stayed moisturized and soft throughout the week. The only issue that I had was that my hair was very greasy the next morning because I used too much of the product. By the end of the first day, my hair was fine.
As a result of my little experiment, petrolatum products are better sealants than Shea Butter for me. However, I still love to use Shea Butter. So, I will probably alternate between the two depending on the weather.
