I have been writing poetry for a long time. I wanted to share the poem below...I pray that it blesses someone :-) 

The Lord's Love

If you listen, you will hear the joy in people's hearts.

If the air is quiet and people are still,

You will feel the warmth.

Though burdens exist and bodies bruised,

If you listen you will hear the joy in people's hearts

A quiet tune escaping from the core of their souls,
Rising up from their throats whispering, "Jesus loves me."
If you listen, you will hear the joy in people's  hearts.
