Christmas Hairstyles and Natural Hair Growth and Vitamins

Hey, my blessed natural!

I feel like it's been forever since I last talked to you all! My schedule has been crazy busy, but I haven't forgotten about you.

I always read about people using different vitamins for hair growth but regular multi-vitamins have always worked for me. My hair seems like it's growing a lot!

Back in 2011, I was taking the Women One A Day Vitamins and my hair was growing like crazy. Recently, I started taking them again but they're the ones that actually say "Supports Healthy Hair, Smooth Skin and Strong Nails" (has more Biotin) on the front, and I've noticed that my hair appears to be growing faster than normal.

I had a bald patch at the crown of my head from the last time I permed my hair in 2010. Today, I noticed the hair is coming back in. Thank God! I will be sharing more about my experience with vitamins and natural hair growth!

Yesterday, I got a chance to wash and put my hair in mini twists so that I could trim my ends. The twists took me about 6 hours to complete. Plus, I didn't need to take off much hair -- only about a half inch.

I haven't decided on a natural hairstyle for Christmas yet. I'm thinking of either doing an updo with the mini twists or  pin curl twist-out. I might just not do anything, lol.  On the left is a picture of how my hair looked before my trim. I forgot to take a picture after lol. Here's how my hair usually looks afterwards.

I usually stretch my hair before twisting, but I didn't it do it this time.

Do you take hair vitamins or regular vitamins? If so, have you noticed a difference in your hair growth?
