Rubber Band Twists with Marley Hair

1BlessedNatural: Rubber Band Twists with Maryley Hair

Happy Saturday, my blessed naturals!

I hope you're having a great day. Last night, I did some rubber band twists using Marley hair. It took me about 3 hours. I used a little bit of Eco Style gel at the base of the hair to smooth the hair a bit.

This style was done on freshly washed hair. I plan to keep it in for 1-2 weeks. I used the 3X Expression Carribean Braid Hair from last time.

1BN, do you have any tips for doing this style?

If you're going to do this style, I would suggest prepping the hair ahead of time. My hair prep usually starts when I am taking the previous style out. I use 4 sections of hair and I put a rubber band in the middle of it. This way, all I have to do is attach the hair and start twisting when I do the next style.

The thing that takes up the most time and effort with this style is...

PARTING! I'm working on it. If you're like me, then you're standing in the mirror with another mirror in your hand trying to see the back of your head! LOL the struggle...

I  try to do no more than 4 rows of 3-4 sections rubber band sections on my head. Once I get the parting out of the way, it's smooth sailing!
