Happy Sunday everyone!
This past week, I had an allergic reaction to a clothes detergent. So, I've been paying close attention to the products that I use. I bought a bottle of Dr. Organics Castile Soap quite a while ago. This was the perfect time to try it.
Location: dollar, drug, grocery stores
Price: $4.99
Ingredients:Water (Aqua), Saponified Coconut, Olive and Hempseed Oil(with retained Glycerine), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Natural Lavender Oil blend, Hydroxyethylcellulose (Plant Derived), Citric Acid, Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic Shea Butter), Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinails) Extract.
Consistency- Clear liquid. The soap is very concentrated, so a little will go along way.
Fragrance- Lavendar, soft pleasant smell.
Here is the recipe for shampoo (in a bottle):
1. Mix 1 part Dr. Organic's Castile Soap and 3 Parts water.
2.Add 4-5 tbsp of Olive Oil
3. Add 10 drops of Coconut Oil (added 11/13/2013)
4. Add 8 drops of Tea Tree Oil
4. Shake up or mix ingredients.
I've learned from research that the Coconut Oil is added to this product to help with the lather.
Even though, I added Olive Oil, it still gave me a good lather. Dr. Organic's Castile Soap also did not
make my hair dry. I was very pleased with the results, and ready to give away all of my other shampoos lol.
Glad this worked out for you.
