"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."- Proverbs 3:5-6
Lately, God has been teaching me a lesson through his guidance. When we pray for something, we believe by faith that it is already done. We don't rely on the things we see in the natural or physical world. Ever since I was child, I always knew that the plan for my life was different. God took his time developing areas of my life. Lately, I have found that God's guidance is given within His perfect timing.
I have wanted things in the past in terms of goals, but I wondered why I didn't have the drive or the spiritual guidance to make it happen at that time. Today, my epiphany was that God gives us guidance but it is all within His perfect timing. For example, you can look at a painting of a waterfall 100 times, and only see a waterfall. But when God feels that you are ready to see that waterfall in a whole new light and you can handle that light, He will guide you to the next phase.
I believe receiving the right things at the wrong time is equal to receiving the wrong things at the wrong time. It all boils down to God's plan for our life. We just have to trust Him and know HIS WORD so we can hear His voice...that "still small voice." :-)
"And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice."- 1Kings 19:12
