Tutorial: Linked Cornrows with Puff

You all may know how much I love puffs, lol! The "Linked Cornrows with Puff"style is fairly quick and easy...

Items Needed

 1. Rat tail comb (for parting)

2. Sectioning Clips

3. hair pins

 

Step 1:  Make a 1-inch wide part from the top of your ear to the top of the other ear.

Step 2:  Divide the the large section into small rectangular sections.

Step 3:  Cornrow each section towards the front of your face. (optional)--> You may cornrow your hair part of the way down, and start two-strand twisting the rest of the section. I like this option because it makes the sections easier to unravel when I am taking them out.

Step 4:   Twist or cornrow the twists together, downward towards both ears (on both sides). Secure the sections with hairpins.

Step 5: Create medium sized, two-strand twists, and then pin curl them.(optional) finger detangle, moisturize, seal each section before twisting.

Step 6: In the morning, apply coconut oil to the ends of your twists and unravel them. Be sure not to separate the sections too much, because they will begin to frizz up. Add headband and go! :-)
