Here are my favorite hair care products to use:
|
Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo |
1. I loveeee this shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky after I wash it.
|
Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner |
2. Prior to growing out my natural hair, I used Olive Oil perms by Oraganize Root Stimulator. This conditioner was in the box. It makes your hair silky too; it also have a nice fragrance (like oranges) :-)
I like to sit under the heating cap for 15-30 minutes after applying the Replenishing Conditioner to my hair.
|
Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise |
3. I also use the Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise twice a month. I sit under a conditioning cap for 15-30 minutes before rinsing it out. It leaves my hair soft and managable.
|
Softee Coconut Oil Hair & Scalp Conditioner |
4. The Softee Coconut Oil is heaven sent! I have been using this for about 8 years. I used it when I relaxed my hair. I use it to oil my scalp and ends, especially when I braid my hair.
|
Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil |
5. I use Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil on my hair and scalp. I usually rub a little in my hands and massage it into my scalp with my finger tips. It's also great to use when your hair is wet. It seals the moisture into the strands.
|
Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 Miracle Worker |
6. I liked this product better than the Hawaiian Silky gel activator. It leaves your hair feeling soft and conditioned. I like to use it on my hair, at night right before I braid it.
|
VO5 Conditioners |
7. I used one of the V05 conditioners when my hair was relaxed. My hair was very hard and dry. However, I recently used this product on my transitioning hair (part natural, part relaxed) during a co-wash. Co-washing is when you wash your hair with conditioner only. I will be post more on this topic. I usually wash the product out of my hair after the co-wash.
8. I also like Herbal Essences conditioners, particularly the "Color me happy" because I do have highlights on my relaxed hair. But I have found that this works great on my natural hair also. I like to use Shea Butter also. I usually put about 5 spoonfuls of the Shea Butter in a container with a small amount of Castor Oil. I put that in the microwave for about 10 seconds or until it softens. Then, I mix the two together. I apply it to each section of my hair and scalp after a wash.
