Our favorite First family has been busy since leaving the White House. Barack and Michelle Obama reportedly just signed a $65 million book deal with Penguin Random House. The publishing company made the announcement on February 28th. The publishing deal includes a total of two books for our former President and First Lady, and one of those books will include a memoir by Barack Obama.

Some of the proceeds from the books will go to the Obama Foundation. Also, one million books will be donated to a Penguin Random House non-profit organization called First Book, which provides children in the U.S. and Canada with equal access to  learning material.

I can't wait to read the books when they come out! Monday, Februray 27th made 7 years since the start of Michelle Obama's Let's Move initiative to promote healthy eating and exercise across America. This past week, Barack and Malia Obama were trending on social media when they attended a Broadway show together.
