What is No-Shave November?
Men around the world are foregoing the razor this month in recognition of No-Shave November. Many people believe the cause is just for appearances, but there is actually a deeper meaning. The purpose of the event is to shed light on cancer and men's health awareness in general. The Today show news anchors, Al Roker, Matt Lauer, Willie Geist, and Carson Daly will be wearing their non-shaven beards and mustaches in honor of the cause all month long. One of the goals for men around the world is to see how long their beards and/or mustaches will be at the end of the 30 days.
