What is the difference between Movember and No-Shave November?
Although some people use No-Shave November and Movember interchangeably, they have slight differences. The word Movember refers to growing your mustache out for the month of November. While, No-Shave November refers to no shaving in general.
The website no-shave.org defines
No-Shave November as a month where the people involved do not shave to
raise cancer awareness. The money that would be spent on grooming is
encouraged to be donated towards cancer research. The focus of the Movember Foundation is to raise funds for specific causes like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, lack of physical activity, .mental illnesses in men.
