The segment was for a Dooney & Bourke handbag in which Bennett and another host were discussing the details of the bag. They were stating that you will not look back and wonder why you are wearing it. Bennett adds to this when she says, "Now, you might think, "Why did I wear my hair like that? But, you'll like your bag still." During that time, the camera focuses in on an African-American woman named Michelle who is rocking the bag and her curly hair. Nyong'o's hair was braided with extension hair in small cornrows into a puff. Two big braids were wrapped around the puff and crossed at her crown area. I thought it was a gorgeous style! Yesterday, Dove Hair launched the "Love Your Curls" campaign that featured a commercial that will make your heart melt! The commercial begins with heartbreaking interviews with 5 little girls who have kinky and curly hair. The little girls, ages 5-11 state that they do not like their hair because they think straight hair is better. My regimen is as follows: Daily   I've been keeping my hair in Bantu knots since the week before last. I moisturize and seal my hair every few days with Cantu Creamy Hair Lotion or water and Coconut Oil. I love the knots because I do not need to moisturize and seal my hair every day. I can also take them out for a Bantu knot- out. If my hair is loose, I will moisturize and seal my hair once in the morning and once at night. Sometimes, I finger detangle my hair to remove all of the shed hair. This is important especially when you are handling fine natural hair because the shed hair can get tangled around the healthy strands. Weekly: Wash Days 1. Sections: I wash my hair in 4 sections. Happy Monday, my blessed naturals, I hope you all are having a great start to your week. Yesterday was Day 2 of my Curlformers curls. They looked okay at the beginning of the day considering the fact that I did not sleep with a bonnet. I only slept on a satin pillow case. By the end of yesterday, my curls looked more like cotton balls . Since my hair was still stretched, I decided to do a two-stand twist, Bantu knot-out. The only products I applied to my hair were oil and water. Since the Motions Foaming Wrap Lotion was still in my hair, the water reactivated it. I parted my hair in medium sections, applied water, oil (to my ends), two-strand twisted, and wrapped the hair around into a Bantu knot. The knots were kept in my hair overnight.
