Twenty-two year-old tennis player and powerhouse Naomi Osaka on the women's final at the US Open in Flushing, NY. Her opponent was Victoria Azarenka. The three sets were 1-6, 6-3, and 6-3. Osaka also won the Grand Slam title at the US Open in 2018. During this year's US Open, the tennis player stood up for racial injustice on the court by wearing black masks with white writing of the names of some of the Black people killed unjustly by the . The names included Breonna Taylor ,  Elijah Mcclain, Amaud Aubery , Trayvon Martin , George Floyd , Philando Castile, and Tamir Rice. Last night, the tennis player wore Kobe's #8 Laker jersey as a tribute to him and said that she does that after each game. Tomorrow, we get to witness a battle of two living legends: Gladys Knight vs. Patti Labelle. The battle will go down tomorrow and will broadcast from the Fillmore in Philly on IG LIVE and Apple Music at 5PM PT/ 8PM ET. Both singers have careers that span over a century! It's hard to say who will win this one, but we will be tuning in.  In two individual promo videos for the battle, the divas dished it out with their favorite dishes. Because the battle is on a Sunday, Gladys Knight and Patti Labelle revealed their Sunday dinners in preparation for the event. Olympic champion Gabby Douglas recently shared the details on Instagram of her natural hair growth  and struggles, including the controversy surrounding her hair during her Olympic performances.  As a child, the 24-year-old said her hair was damaged due to the tight ponytails she had to wear to do gymnastics. Gymnasts are required to wear their hair back from their faces. This is to ensure that it does not get in the way of their view while they are performing. According to Gymnastics HQ , gymnasts also must not have any stray hairs sticking out either. Because of the tight ponytails, Douglas experienced breakage in the back of her hair and bald spots that she tried to hide with decorative clips.  The Olympian said she didn't even want to go to the gym because she was so embarrassed about her hair. On Instagram, Campbell said, "Lord Zaya and these tiktoks 🤦🏾‍♀️ how did I do?" You both did good, Erica!  Last month, Campbell also did a video with Zaya while she was doing the Renegade dance. In an Instagram post, the 23-year-old said, "Since I was young, my mom always made my birthdays spectacular. This year, she got a horse (laughing/crying emoji)." In an Instagram video, she perfectly described the reason why it can be extremely hard to heal from adult triggers or flashbacks linked to your childhood. Seales said that a friend of hers who is in therapy asked why the healing process took so long. She said, "I think the reason why this be taking so long is because when you're trying to communicate with your inner child, it takes a minute for them to actually elucidate the point." Model and creator of the clothing line Flexin' In My Complexion Kheris Rogers has signed with Columbia Records' Jam Jr. and joined the girl group Run the World. The group is a collaboration between Jam Jr. and Justice clothing company. Rogers' other group members include Hayley LeBlanc, Jessalyn Grace, and Corrine Joy. The 13-year-old entrepreneur made her announcement on  Instagram and said she spent Juneteenth celebrating her accomplishments with her friends and family.
