Erica Campbell and her daughter Zaya Campbell (photo cred: Facebook) Gospel singer Erica Campbell posted the cutest video of her and 8-year old daughter Zaya dancing to "Do It" by Chloe X Hall e ! On Instagram, Campbell said, "Lord Zaya and these tiktoks 🤦🏾‍♀️ how did I do?" You both did good, Erica!  Last month, Campbell also did a video with Zaya while she was doing the Renegade dance. The Renegade dance was created by 14-year-old Jalaiah Harmon. In the video, Erica Campbell had a hard time keeping up with little Zaya, but they were both enjoying themselves! Jekalyn Carr Gospel singer Jekalyn Carr recently released her new song and video "Changing Your Story." The video was recorded last year at the "Praise in the Park" event by Praise 102.5 radio station in Atlanta. On June 5th, Carr released the "Changing Your Story" and "Power of Love" songs on digital platforms on June 5th. On her Instagram page, the 23-year-old said this: With everything that's going on in the world today, and with everything we all face individually, I'm thankful that God never leaves us without a WORD of comfort, peace, and faith, and healing, assuring us of His presence and His plans to deliver us from whatever  we're facing and into what He's prepared for us... Today, former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin who killed George Floyd by kneeling on his neck has been arrested and charged with third-degree murder. Three other officers were also at the scene of the crime on May 25, 2020. Since then, we have seen the anger, hurt, frustration, and heartache of Black people and those who identify with us across this nation. We've seen image after image of Black people that have been killed unjustly killed--Ahmad Arbery, Brionna Taylor, Mike Brown , Trayvon Martin , Freddie Gray, and the list goes on. We've endured the dehumanization of us and we're tired. Last night, the fever in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Louisville, Kentucky reached an all-time high with protesters who were angry at the injustices. Louisville was where Breonna Taylor lived. Hey my blessed naturals! Yesterday , I promised you an update on Little Sister Natural's hair. Like Big Sis, she also got her hair washed and blow dried this past Sunday, and she was not feeling the process at all. You all might already know that if you look at her hair hard she will scream, nevermind touching it! Her hair has grown so much! After LSN's hair was washed, her mom sprayed Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves on it while it was wet. Then, she blow dried it until it was about 95% dry. Afterwards, the hair was parted into big sections. Each section was then divided into 2- 3 sections and  twisted. Big and medium size hair knockers were put on the ends. Side note: I never really wore those as a kid, but I know they could hurt if someone accidentally swung the hair the wrong way lol.
