Hey, my blessed naturals! It's been 1 week since I did my single braids for the first time . I've been enjoying the fact that I don't have to do my hair. Yay for protective styling lol! I keep my hair in a twisted bun style, and I use the African Royale Sheen Spray on my hair and scalp. I also use the Hollywood Beauty Tea Tree Oil on my scalp to combat the itching. I spray my hair every morning, but I've only used the oil once. I plan to cleanse my scalp next week. Yesterday, I took my hair down spritzed, oiled, and put it back up into a bun. Since my hair is in a protective style, I've had more time to work on adding more cards to the Ruthie's Greetings Etsy shop. Single Braids: Double Twisted Bun style. Happy Wednesday, my blessed naturals! I hope you all are having a great week. Today, I wanted to share a picture of my double twisted bun style that I did with my single braid extensions. It didn't come out quite as good as I wanted because I cut the braids previously, but I still like the style. I plan to rock the bun for the hot weather. It's great because I don't have to worry about my hair being on my neck. God willing, I will do the same style (neater)when I braid my hair again. Earrings by Taramanda. The "Get Ready" inspirational,  natural hair  greeting card by Ruthie's Greetings Hi my blessed naturals, I hope you are well! I just wanted to post the new natural hair cards that are available for purchase in the Ruthie's Greetings Etsy shop. The two cards are poem cards. The "Get Ready" card (pictured above) features a poem I wrote for anyone who is trying to achieve a goal or waiting for a blessing from God. The message is that you should get ready to receive the blessings God has for you. The card features a faceless African-American girl who has a gigantic afro (smile). The "Keep Praying" card (pictured below) is similar in appearance to the "Get Ready" card. Of course, the girl on the front has a big afro (smile). Happy Tuesday everyone! I have added new Christmas gift tags for purchase to the Ruthie's Greetings Etsy shop! The gift tags feature an original and cute design of a baby with an afro dressed in green pajamas, hugging a red ornament. The ornament has the words "Merry Christmas" written in green letters on the front of it. I created the design on the computer, and then printed it onto white cardstock. Product: handmade Bow Earrings (reversible) Price: $8.00 plus shipping was very good considering the fact that the earrings are reversible. It's like having two pairs of earrings in one.They have a bluish denim-like side and a pretty, mixed pink side. Shipping: I received my earrings within 2 or 3 days, after placing my order. Style : I love these earrings because you can wear them to a formal or casual event. The fact that they are reversible adds more to this ability.I love how the earrings complement my fro.
