    1BlessedNatural- 1BN Kids: Update on Little Sister Natural's Hair Happy Monday, my blessed naturals, Earlier this month , I told you all about Little Sister Natural’s hair falling out due to her breaking her arm and surgery. At the time, her hair was not holding onto any moisture and was very brittle. She even had small bald patches in the middle of her hair. Well, I’m happy to report that her hair is doing much better! Last weekend, her mother tried Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on her hair and put it into four braids. It stayed moisturized, but her braids were visibly smaller than normal, revealing the amount of hair she lost. 1BlssedNatural: My Winter Natural Hair Regimen for 2016 Hey my blessed naturals! I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day! For love day, I wore my hair in a stretched 'fro with a bang. During the week, I pretty much wear my hair in a bun or puff with flat twists in the front. The weekends is when I let my 'fro be free lol. I still use all the same products for the most part. Here is a list of my natural hair products and regimen: 1. 100% Coconut Oil - applied 3 or 4 times a week 2. Aunt Jackie's Detangler - once a week after washing 3. Cantu Creamy Hair Lotion - applied 2-3 times a week* 4.  ACV rins e every week to treat my seborrheic dermatitis 5. Shampoo: Since I ran out of the Aunt Jackie's "Oh So Clean " shampoo, I just use whatever I have available until it runs out. I'm now using the Alvalon Organics Strengthening Peppermint shampoo. 6. W hen we first met Ibtihaj , she had done her Big Chop 3 weeks prior . She 's just removed medium-size d, braided ex tension s. She kept th e extensions for about 1 1/2 months. Becau se she' d been taking hair vitamins, Ibtihaj's hair has grown 2 inches . She attempted to keep her extensions in for a full 2 months (as of June 17 th) , but she had to o much new growth . Her braids were sliding out of her hair. She sent me the pictures of her fro with side cornrows . Go ahead Ibtihaj!
