This weekend, I visited Shoppers World. They had a lot of inexpensive hair and beauty accessories. Most of the items I purchased were under $2.00. I found the following items: 1. 3-pack of exfoliating facial sponges for 99 cents- Normally, 1 sponge would cost you anywhere from $2.00-$5.00. Exfoliating sponges are great for removing dirt and oil from your skin. You can also use facial loofah sponges , which can be found at select drug, grocery, and beauty supply stores. 2. 1- pack of 30 stretchy bands for 99 cents- You can find stretchy bands at most dollar stores. I love using stretch bands when I do the Banding Method . 3. 4-pcs. nail kit for 1.99- I've seen nail kits that start at $4.00 and up. 4. 1-pack of 60 colorful bobby pins for 0.99- I've seen bobby pins that cost $1.00, but often times the color comes off easily. I will have to see how well these pins hold up. What are your favorite hair accessories to buy at a discount or dollar store?

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I just wanted to share some pictures of my hair on the 4th. Since I've been rocking the puff styles a lot lately, it feels weird wearing my hair in a twist out fro, lol. You know I used to wear my hair in twist outs a lot, lol. My flower hair clip is by (BRASH) at Payless Shoesource. They had a buy 1, get 1 half off sale. I bought 2 packs of 3 hair clips. I would have spent around $11.00, but I spent a little over $9.00. Happy Wednesday everyone, I was perusing the aisle of Family Dollar when I saw the zigzag pattern headband above, and I absolutely love it!... It was only 99cents plus tax :-) You can match it with many different colors/outfits.

Precious' shop features cute handmade hair bows that are fun to match with your clothing. My Review:   I ordered 1 big ruffled pink hair bow and 1 blue checkered bow.  Good morning everyone,  I hope that all is well with you. This post is inspired by " Accents for your locs... loc jewlry" by Naturaleza.  This year has been a big year for accessories, in general. Almost every women department/store includes accessories in their inventory. With stores like Old Navy and Payless stepping up their accessories, you have no choice but to join in the fun! Forever 21 has nice ones also. My favorite hair accessories are headbands and flower clips. This brings me to ask the question, "What is your favorite hair accessory?
