1BlessedNatural: 4-Year-Old Little Girl with Locs Tells Boy She Came to Learn, Not to Look Pretty! Hey, my blessed naturals! I talk about the importance of instilling self-love in all kids, especially little girls all the time. 4-year-old CiCi told her mom that a boy at her school said she was ugly. The one thing that tugged at my heart a bit was that she paused before saying "ugly." But, the little girl responded cleverly by saying, "I didn't come here to make a fashion statement; I came here to learn, not look pretty." Round of applause for her parent or parents!
