1BlessedNatural: Natural Hairstyle: Connected Rubber Band Twists with Puff Happy Monday, my blessed naturals! I'm back with another new rubber band twist and puff style! This one was inspired by Little Sister Natural's rubber band twists and one of Alicia Keys' styles. My hair was in need of some serious TLC! So, this weekend I washed, deep conditioned, detangled, and banded it. I used the Fab Curls Moisturizing Shampoo and Tropical Coconut Conditioner by Suave Essentials, and my hair was loving it! If you look closely at the picture, you will notice that one side of my head is twisted and the other side is loose, lol. I didn't decide to twist them until I got to like the second or third row of rubber bands. I only kept the rubber bands for a day or so to keep my edges lol. Happy Monday, my blessed naturals! Lately, I've been rocking a twist-out with a bobby-pinned (swoop) bang, lol. I did two-strand twist pin curls about 2 nights ago. Cantu Curl Activator, water (spray bottle), and coconut oil were used on my hair before twisting. I applied EcoStyler gel to my edges and brushed them with a toothbrush. I haven't twisted my hair in two days because I still keep my hair in the banana clips to preserve my twist-out. I love that method! In the morning, I remove the clips, spritz my edges with water, and smooth my hair down with my hands. Then, I tie my headband and go! What natural hairstyle are you wearing this week? 1BlessedNatural: Another Cornrow Design with Loc Jewelry and Fro Happy Thursday, my blessed naturals! I'm back with another natural hairstyle! Tuesday, I did a new cornrow design at the front of my head and left the back out. I did squiggly parts on each side and 4 cornrows each. After applying one piece of loc jewelry to two of the braids on each side, I braided the cornrows together, rolled them up, and bobby pinned them. 1BlessedNatural: Puff and Fro with Rubber Band Twist and Cornrow Headband Happy Sunday, my blessed naturals, A few days ago, I did small diagonal cornrows in the front of my head and twisted them to the ends. Then, I connected every two twists together using a rubber band to create a sort of headband. Bobby pins were used to tuck the hair under. I also added some loc jewelry . My edges look tight, but Eco Styler gel was used to smooth them. I slept with a scarf tied around my head overnight. The back section of hair was banded to stretch it out, and I wore it in a puff for the first day. The next day, I wore it in a 'fro. I ended up using a regular headband to keep my hair from flying all over the place LOL. New Go-To Natural Hairstyle: French Braids Half-Up Hey, my blessed naturals, Friday, I took out my rubber band twist and cornrow style , but I kept the finger coils in. Then, I did a horizontal part in the middle of my hair, French braided both sides, and banana clippe d the braids in the middle. The bottom section was left hanging and voila! That’s my new go-to style lol. My hair’s been long overdue for a protein treatment, so I did one Sunday. That was after my normal routine of doing an ACV rinse , washing, and deep conditioning my hair. Sometimes, I completely forget about doing protein treatments until I notice that my hair is getting brittle and dry quickly. 1BlessedNatural - Natural Hairstyle: Curvy Twists with Puff  Happy Tuesday, my blessed naturals, I hope you all had a great weekend. Saturday night, I removed the bands from my hair and created some curvy flat twists in the front of my head with a side part. I was making it up as I went along. Can’t you tell? Lol. ECO Style r gel was used around my edges. Bobby pins and hair pins were used to secure the twists.The rest of my hair was put into a puff, and I added a decorative clip to the band around it. If you read my last post about pin curling my mini twists, then you know I trimmed my ends. I’ve said this before, but I just love the way my hair feels after removing damaged or weathered ends. It feels super soft and stays moisturized longer. 1BlessedNatural: Twist-Out on Braid-Out Hairstyle Hey, my blessed naturals,  Monday night, I did medium, pin curl   two-strand twists on my braid-out hair . I used Aunt Jackie's Curl La La and coconut oil. This morning, I unraveled them. Because I had some Zum Grapefruit Oil by Indigo Wild available, I applied that to my fingers beforehand. I love the smell of it! The bottle says it's Shea Butter Massage and Body Oil, but it works fine on my hair. After removing my twists, I fluffed my hair out and added a headband.
