Tomorrow, I will be giving you all an update on some products that I have used to get my hair back in shape. Thank God!  Tonight, I wanted to talk about  my experience using natural hair, puff styles as low manipulation hairstyles.  Low manipulation hairstyles consist of any styles that will help minimize the amount of styling done to your hair. Basically, they help you keep your hands out of your hair, lol. Some naturalistas may consider styles like wash-n-go's, roller sets, twist-outs, braid outs, and buns as low manipulation styles. I have been using puff styles as my low manipulation style. At the beginning of the week, I usually braid or twist the front of my hair. I put the back in medium-sized twists. Hey everyone! In my spare time, I like to watch natural hair videos. But, I had no idea that my niece was taking notes lol. After washing and conditioning her hair, my niece J and I plaited her hair in medium sized braids. Then she gathered the braids into two ponytails and made two big braids. preparing her hair for the braid out After she finished the braids, she sprayed her hair with the Olive Oil by Organic Root Stimulator. She kept her hair in the braids for about two days. During that time, she wore the braids in a bun and ponytail Here are her lovely results!

Braid Out with Curly Ends

  Happy Friday everyone! I haven't done a braid out since I transitioned over a year ago. So, I gave my mini-twists a rest and installed medium- sized braids. I applied the Motions Wrap Lotion and rolled the ends of my hair with Cold- Wave Rods. The Motions Wrap Lotion helps to keep the definition. It also keeps my hair from shrinking from the humidity. I slept with the rods in my hair overnight. In the morning, I applied Coconut Oil to my braids and carefully unraveled them.
