Adding Aloe Vera Gel to Your Conditioner

1BlessedNatural: Adding Aloe Vera Gel to Your Conditioner Happy Thursday, my blessed naturals! I've heard from many of you about adding aloe vera to your conditioner. In the past, I've also done aloe vera juice rinses to restore the lost protein in my hair. Three weeks ago, I decided (at the last minute) to add some aloe vera gel to my conditioner because I didn't have any more protein conditioner. After washing my hair, I squeezed a large amount of Suave Almond and Shea Butter conditioner into my hands. Then, I squeezed a large amount of the Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel into my hands, rubbed them together, and applied it to each of the 4 sections of hair. Afterwards, I sat under a heating cap for onehour, and then I rinsed the mixture out of my hair. My hair felt softer and silky, but I cannot say that the aloe vera gel and conditioner mixture was a good replacement for a protein treatment. My hair is usually stronger after a protein treatment.
