Hey my blessed naturals! It's been a minute, but we're back! Little Sister Natural  is now a teen, and she's in high school now. I know...time flies. Here are some freestyle cornrows that her mom, Victoria , did in October 2024. This style took  2 1/2 hours. Castor oil was used to oil her scalp. Hair was added to the back for the bun to give it a boho look. I love this hairstyle especially the star on the side of her head! It's great if you're looking for kid or teen natural hairstyles. 1BN Kids: Little Sister Natural's Half  Up Twists, Half Down Style Happy Easter weekend, my blessed naturals! Little Sister Natural is back with another natural hairstyle! Today, her mom washed, conditioned, and blow dried her hair. Then, she put two rubber band twists in the front and let the back hang down. Now, LSN begged to have her hair out today, but she was not ready for that tangling by the end of the day lol.     1BlessedNatural- 1BN Kids: Update on Little Sister Natural's Hair Happy Monday, my blessed naturals, Earlier this month , I told you all about Little Sister Natural’s hair falling out due to her breaking her arm and surgery. At the time, her hair was not holding onto any moisture and was very brittle. She even had small bald patches in the middle of her hair. Well, I’m happy to report that her hair is doing much better! Last weekend, her mother tried Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on her hair and put it into four braids. It stayed moisturized, but her braids were visibly smaller than normal, revealing the amount of hair she lost. 1BN Kids Video: 5- Year Old Little Sister Natural Takes Out Her Own Braids Happy Tuesday, my blessed naturals! This weekend, Little Sister Natural took out her own braids for the first time. We were super proud of her because she took the initiative to do it herself.  I also have to add, she’s only 5 years old, and I’m a proud auntie! Lol. We all agreed that it was time for her to start learning how to do her own, because it’s a scream and cry fest when her mom does it (see meme below). This last time, it took LSN’s dad holding the top section of hair while her mom brushed it to get it done. 1BN Kids: Little Sister Natural's Big Cornrows with Flower Headband Happy Monday, my blessed naturals! Little Sister Natural is rocking four big cornrows (no hair added) this week. Saturday, her and Big Sister Natural got their hair done. LSN's hair was done with four big braids going straight back and two small cornrows going around her edges into the middle braid. I like the fact that the middle section is divided into two braids--one at the top and one at the bottom, because it's different. Little Sister Natural's mom added a flower headband for decoration. Her and Big Sister Natural went to go see The Jungle Book , and they loved it! I also thought it was a good movie!   Are you going to try this style on your little one? Hey my blessed naturals! Yesterday , I promised you an update on Little Sister Natural's hair. Like Big Sis, she also got her hair washed and blow dried this past Sunday, and she was not feeling the process at all. You all might already know that if you look at her hair hard she will scream, nevermind touching it! Her hair has grown so much! After LSN's hair was washed, her mom sprayed Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves on it while it was wet. Then, she blow dried it until it was about 95% dry. Afterwards, the hair was parted into big sections. Each section was then divided into 2- 3 sections and  twisted. Big and medium size hair knockers were put on the ends. Side note: I never really wore those as a kid, but I know they could hurt if someone accidentally swung the hair the wrong way lol. Today I wanted to share with you Little Sister Natural's (LSN) big twist-out ponytails from about a month ago. Her mom kept her hair in 4 large braids for 1 or 2 days. Afterwards, she unraveled them and applied a small amount of Cantu Curl Activator. You already know LOL, Little Sister Natural was not feeling the fact that she had to get her hair done, but she loved her results! I had to correct the style details for Little Sister Natural's upward rubber band twisted hairstyle . Big Sister Natural's hair is in a front cornrow that goes into a french braid towards the back of her head. The bottom half of her hair is blown out and left hanging. Grape seed oil was applied to her hair. Little Sister has a similar style from last week, but her twists are in rope twists this week. She has Y-part in the back of her head. 1BN Kids: Banded Braids and Ponytails Happy Saturday, my blessed naturals! Today, Big Sister and Little Sister Natural were rocking their banded braids and ponytails. My sister and I took them to see the movie HOME , and they loved it! We did too! Big Sister Natural wore her flat ironed her in a ponytail at the top secured with pink and green ponytail holders. Her hair hung loose at the bottom. She had 2 interlocked cornrows in her bang area like in the article before last . Little Sister Natural wore her hair in 3 braided ponytails. She had 2 in the front and 1 in the back. Each ponytail had 3 individual braids that were all secured together with bands or ponytail holders at the ends.  Both of the girls' natural hair was blow dried before styling.
