1BlessedNatural: Titi Branch, Co-Founder of Miss Jessie's Hair Care Products Passes Away at 45  (photo courtesy of Flickr- Elvert Barnes under the CC-BY-SA 2.0 ) Today, many of us in the natural hair world are at a loss for words at the passing of Miss Jessie's hair products co-founder, Titi Branch at age 45. Although, Branch passed away on December 4, 2014, the news of Branch's passing was announced via NV Magazine on Facebook yesterday. According to the obituary, the cause of Titi Branch's death was due to "an apparent suicide due to asphyxia." Both Titi and Miko Branch were leaders in the natural hair community because they owned their own salon in New York, and were some of the first people to develop and sell products that were dedicated to natural hair in major stores.  I do not know Titi Branch's whole story, but I know that depression is no joke. Two-Strand Twist, Tuck and Pin with Puff Style Happy Tuesday, my blessed naturals, I hope you all are having a great evening. Lately, it seems like there is so much going on in the world. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.' - John 14:27 Last night, I did a hairstyle that was similar to the Two-Strand Knot TWA Style . I created flat twists in my bang area and sides. Then, I twisted, pinned (with hair pins), and tucked them underneath each other to create a design. The back portion was put into a puff.  The hairstyle took about 20-30 minutes. Next time, I will probably do it in less time, because I was making up the style as I went along. Lauryn Hill (Photo courtesy of flickr.com Bastomas) Yesterday,  TMZ  reported singer, Lauryn Hill was being evicted from her NJ home by her landlord. In addition, this week several media outlets reported that Hill pleaded to a judge to give her probation to pay back almost $500,000 in back taxes. If the reports are true, it has been a hard week for Ms. Hill. I pray that God uses all of her situations for her good :-) I just want to send her my well wishes. We're praying for you and your family Ms. Hill!
