Location: Florida 1. What made you decide to go natural? I have two daughters, ages 2 and 4, who are obviously still natural. I made up in my mind that I will never relax their hair. I wanted them to stay natural until they decided to relax their own hair(which I hope is never!). That made me realize that I should set the example for them to love the hair that God gave them. This is actually my third time transitioning back to natural. The first two times I went back to relaxer within a few months. This time I transitioned for 7 months and then chopped all the relaxed ends off and haven't looked back! I wanted the long, thick, healthy hair I had in my childhood back and I am well on my way! 2. What were your friends and loved ones' reactions to your decision? My parents never liked for us to cut our hair! So when I told them I big chopped they were a little upset. My mother wanted me to transition longer. But they both have been supportive of my decision....
