1BlessedNatural: Dreamworks Introduces Natural Hair Character  in "Home"Movie On March 27th, DreamWorks Animation's new 3-D animated movie, HOME featuring a cute and curly haired Black teen named Tip will hit theaters. Tip encounters a little clumsy alien named "Oh" (Jim Parsons) from another planet. The two go on a fantastic journey which teaches the lesson that no one is perfect. Tip's voice is played by singer Rihanna. When I first saw the trailer for the movie, I thought it was nice to see a character who looked like a normal teen rocking her natural hair.   There are some great close-up texture shots of her hair in the movie! I also liked the fact that Tip is not super skinny, and she is dressed like a normal kid. One of her outfits include a light green hoodie, jeans, and sneakers.    I had just left work when I decided to go see "Beasts of the Southern Wild". I saw the trailer, but I was not ready for the fantastic adventure that it would take me on. The clock read 5:08 and the movie was starting at 5:10 pm. I was excited. So, I used my two minutes to get my ticket and snacks, and headed right to my seat. Beasts of the Southern Wild" is set in a place called the BathTub that is separated from everyone else. The main character "Hushpuppy"( Quvenzhané Wallis) tells the story of how she sees the world through her imagination. The movie is reminiscent of the event of Hurricane Katrina. But , it takes you on an enchanted adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat. It is a must-see and I'm glad that I got the chance to go see it!
