Sunday, I did one. The night before, I sprayed water my hair with water and coconut oil. If you try this style be sure to make your hair wet enough to help it set when it dries. This will help you avoid the frizzies. I parted and twisted about 8 sections starting at my crown going downward, all around my head. The ends were rolled up and pinned using bobby pins. You can also do the same with rod set rollers. Because they have holes, they allow your hair to dry better. Either way, be sure to give your hair enough time to dry. 1BlessedNatural: Another Flat Twist, Twist-Out Happy Monday, my blessed naturals! I hope you all had a great weekend. I did a flat twist, twist out on Sunday. Friday, I washed, deep conditioned, and banded my hair. Saturday night, I did medium sized twists. I parted my hair across my crown and twisted it straight down the back and sides. The front was twisted towards my eye brows. My hair was spritzed with water beforehand. Cantu Creamy Hair lotion was applied to each section before sealing with coconut oil. Afterwards I grabbed the ends of a few flat twists (at a time), pin curled, and secured them with a bobby pin.  In the morning, I unraveled the twists and fluffed them out with my fingers. This morning I took out one of my flat twists to redo it, but I decided to flip it up to create a pompadour hairstyle. 1. What made you decide to go natural?    I’d been contemplating it for a few months. I noticed how thin my hair was becoming every time my beautician relaxed my hair. I transitioned for eight months, and then I did what they call a big chop. I just did it at home myself.  T he night before last, I decided to add more flat twists to my Puff with Flat Twisted Swoop Bang style.  Because my edges were frizzy by the end of the day, I thought it would be a good idea to flat twist the sides  of my hair. I banded the back section in two ponytails. Yesterday, I took the bands off, and then put my hair in a puff.    What's your favorite hairstyle?

T his week, I wore my hair in two flat twists in the front and a puff in the back. Although I love the style, I like to dress it up with accessories. This week, I became tired of twisting my hair every night. So, I flat twisted it. I kept the flat twist, swoop bang . I parted the back section down the middle. I started twisting at my edges, all the way back to the part. I did that for each side. The ends were two-strand twisted and  pinned down to cover the part. I wasn't thrilled about bang with this style. Next time, I might try the style without the bang. I kept the flat twists in for two days. I rocked a flat twist out for about two days afterwards.
