1BlessedNatural - Coiled Edges: Rubber Band Cornrow Twists and Puff Style with Flower Clip Happy Memorial Day, my blessed naturals! Thank you to all of you who have served in the armed forces. Yesterday, I had to find a natural style fast! My hair was in bands from the night before. I side-parted my hair, left out my edges, and created 4 curvy cornrow twists from my hairline going back towards my crown area, and 2 going straight down on the side . They were secured with rubber bands, and my edges were finger coiled again. I added a flower clip for decoration. If you’re going to try this style, I would suggest not making your rubber bands too tight. 1BlessedNatural: Protective Styling Break: Puff with Bang Hey, my blessed naturals! Last week, I took a small break from protective styling and put my hair in a puff with a bang. My hair was banded to stretch it beforehand. Since I've been doing a lot of protective styling, my hair is a lot thicker and healthier. Because it's been ridiculously hot in the south, I only kept my hair out for about five days before cornrowing it back up again. puff with flat twisted bang Hey my blessed naturals!  I hope you all are doing well. I send my love and prayers out to all of you who are dealing with the aftermath of the ice storm in Georgia and Alabama. God bless! Today, I wore my hair in a puff with a flat twisted, swoop bang . Because my hair is getting longer, it is starting to outgrow some of the hairstyles that I normally wear. I'm having issues with my puff, lol. My hair is starting to get too long to look right with my stretchy bands. It looks okay if I tighten the band into more of a ponytail, but the loose puffs don't look as good. So, I will probably start wearing more bun styles, but, I will rock my puff as long as possible. Did your hair outgrow any of your favorite hairstyles? The 1BlessedNatural t-shirts have arrived!
