After I did my big chop, one of my concerns was to still look feminine with short natural hair. I've found that makeup and accessories do the trick. I already liked to accessorize. So, the earrings and chains weren't a problem. I also like to wear neck scarves. However, I am not a big fan of makeup. The good thing is that I don't mind eye makeup. Eye shadow is my best friend lol. It's really fun to be able to switch up the styles. When you wear your short hair, you also wear your confidence in God. He created you. No matter how you wear your hair, wear it with a smile because He loves you. That will show through and add to your femininity. Go ahead and try it :-) 1BlessedNatural

That is the question! LOL, I was having this discussion with a friend of mine. When do you decide that you want to do the big chop? My new growth is about 1 1/2 inches long. I don't think that a short hair cut would fit my face. But there is a part of me that wants to to chop it all off. It's also cold outside lol. I don't need the wind hitting my scalp more than it already is. I am considering doing my big chop in the summer, depending on the length of my hair. You definitely have to remember that your hair is going to shrink when it dries. So, you might have 4 inches of natural hair growth, and it may shrink down to 2 1/2 when you wash it. We'll see how mine is by June. That is only if, I haven't decided to do my big chop lol.
