| 1BlessedNatural: Tina Campbell of Mary Mary and Hubby, Teddy Co-Host New Show About Relationships and Marriage |
Last month, Tina and her husband, Teddy Campbell's new video series called 10 Minutes with Teddy and Tina premiered on YouTube. About two years ago, the couple revealed they had infidelity issues in their marriage. The scenario played out on the WEtv show Mary Mary. Since then, Tina and Teddy Campbell have repaired their relationship and are using their experience to empower other people.
Listen, I'm a fan of the Mary Mary group and show, and I watched the episode where Teddy told Tina about him cheating on her. She had an extremely tough time dealing with it and rightfully so! I know we probably didn't even see half of the pain she experienced, but I give it to her... I don't think I would be able to forgive and take a man back into my life if he conducted himself the way Tina's husband conducted himself. God bless her!
With that being said, I really like the 10 Minutes with Teddy and Tina show. I love the fact that they are transparent. For example, in episode one,"Back to Being Single," Tina talked about how she went into their relationship with "daddy" issues. Teddy said he expected his wife to fix things that were wrong with him. I also like the inclusion of faith and God. I think the show will help a lot of people with their relationships. I forgot to mention, Tina is back to rocking her 'fro like her early Mary Mary days! (smile)
In addition to the show, the Campbells did a tour called "An Evening with Teddy and Tina Campbell" to share their story. In 2015, Tina released a book called "I Need A Day to Pray" in which she talks candidly about her life and relationship with God.
